Muuseumid ja mängud – koostöös mängude loomine
- mail korraldab Eesti Rahva Muuseum koostöös videomängude muuseumiga LVLup! seminaripäeva „Muuseumid ja mängud – koostöös mängude loomine“ Eesti Rahvusraamatukogus (Tõnismägi 2, Tallinn), mis keskendub mängude ja kultuuripärandi kokkupuutepunktidele ning muuseumide, hariduse ja mängusektori koostööle.
Seminaripäev toob kokku muuseumi-, haridus- ja mänguarendusvaldkonna, et arutada, millised on erinevad koostöövormid muuseumide ja mängusektori vahel ning kuidas kaasata erinevaid sihtrühmi, sh kogukondi ja õppijaid mängude koosloomesse.
Päeva fookuses on küsimus, kuidas kujundada mänge, mis sünniksid kultuuri- ja tehnoloogiavaldkonna edukas koostöös ning millised oleksid kasutajate ootused neile.
Tutvustame projekti i-Game tulemusi ning mängude koosloome platvormi arendamist. Jagame praktilisi kogemusi mängude kogumisest, uurimisest ja loomisest. Arutame koos, kuidas saavad mängud toetada õppimist ja kogukondade kaasamist ning kuidas pärand leiaks laiemat kasutust mängudes.
Päeva lõpetab arutelu, kus osalejad saavad oma mänguideid ja mõtteid jagada ning tagasisidestada. Õhtupoole on osalejatel võimalus võtta osa Eesti Kunstiakadeemia Playformance’ist ehk tudengite live-esitlusest, kus videomängu mängimine muutub kunstiliseks etenduseks.
NB! Üritus toimub inglise keeles. Osalemine on tasuta, kuid palume end eelnevalt registreerida SIIN, kuna kohtade arv on piiratud.

I-Game’i projekti rahastab Euroopa Liit teadus- ja innovatsiooniprogrammi Horizon Europe kaudu. Projekti viib läbi tehnoloogia-, ettevõtlus- ja kultuurivaldkonna partnerite ühendus eesmärgiga luua mängude koosdisainimise platvorm.

On May 21, the Estonian National Museum, in cooperation with the video game museum LVLup!, will organize a seminar day titled “Games and Museums: Designing Experiences through Co-Creation” at the National Library of Estonia (Tõnismägi 2, Tallinn). The event will focus on the intersections between games and cultural heritage, as well as collaboration between museums, education, and the gaming sector.
The seminar day will bring together professionals from the museum, education, and game development fields to discuss different forms of collaboration between museums and the gaming sector, and how to engage various target groups, including communities and learners, in the co-creation of games.
The focus of the day is on how to design games that emerge from successful collaboration between the cultural and technology sectors, and what users’ expectations for such games might be.
We will present the results of the i-Game project and the development of a game co-creation platform. Practical experiences in collecting, researching, and using games in museums will be shared. Together, we will discuss how games can support learning, community engagement, and the use of heritage in games.
The day will conclude with a discussion where participants can share their game ideas and thoughts and receive feedback. In the evening, participants will have the opportunity to take part in the Estonian Academy of Arts’ Playformance – a live student performance where playing a video game becomes an artistic show.

The i-Game project is carried out within the framework of the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme and has received funding from the European Union. The i-Game project aims to develop a game co-design platform enabling users to collaboratively design games for mobile, desktop, or virtual reality platforms.

Estonian Academy of Arts’ Playformance (Möku bar, Telliskivi 57, Tallinn)
Playformance is an artistic and performative practice within a video game that uses the act of playing itself for narrative construction. At the crossroads of video games, live performance, and critical reflection, the term playformance was coined by the French collective Sous les Néons to designate a form of performative art. It is a situated performance that uses the game’s mechanics, its universe, and its relationship with the player as expressive materials.
