This book has been created jointly by the Estonian National Museum and Eesti Pank.
The Estonian National Museum’s collection includes over 3000 rugs and tapestries. Most of them are from Estonia, but over hundred come from other Finno-Ugric peoples, and some were brought back by travellers from distant lands who later donated them to the museum. The oldest rugs are from the 18th century and the newest ones are form the 21th century.
