The Estonian National Museum’s main building at Raadi

Books on the creation and biography of one house are rarely published in Estonia, and it is exceptional that the book is completed at the same time as the building itself. The Estonian National Museum issued a total work for building a new house, where the books author Gregor Taul talks about the building and its position as a critical bystander in the city and culture, not as a court boy.

The total work consists of five parts, a total of 476 pages. The first part (138 pages) is about the museum and Space Culture, the second (116 LK) The architectural competition of the new building and its afterwaves, and the third (84 pages) of the building on the wire. The fourth part of the total work (88 pages) is formed by photographer Paul Kuimeti’s photostory, which covers the period from January to May 2016, and the last booklet of the work (50 pages) introduces a closer look at the architects of the ENM building from the Paris office Dorell Ghotmeh.
